Prior to promoting at such a good way and getting both Southern New Mexico Speedway, and El Paso Speedway Park on the map, a prominent promoter took a moment to slow down and visit the El Paso Children’s Hospital in El Paso, Texas.
On December 22, 2014 promoter/manager of the El Paso Speedway Park, Southern New Mexico Speedway, and the Southwest Late Models, Rue Stone dropped by the El Paso Children’s Hospital with a sleigh full of joy! Rue Stone who works hard day and night took time off on Monday to take some die cast cars, shirts, and a bunch more stuff to put a smile on little kids faces and spend some time.
The racing community is one of the best when it comes to helping each other, so Rue Stone thought “why not help out the community in need”. The El Paso Speedway Park made a lot of little boys, and girls happy, and gave them one thing you can’t put under a Christmas Tree, a smile.
We have started this holiday season off right, and we hope this encourages you and your family to give some love to the community whether it’s a can food drive, or just going to a local children’s Hospital, or whatever it is and make it a better place. The holidays isn’t about what you receive, it’s about what you give, and having the people you love around you. From all of us here at the El Paso Speedway Park, and Southern New Mexico Speedway we wish you, and your family a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Years!
