2015 kicked off with the Border International Truck 305 Winged Sprint Cars, Sun Valley Hardware USRA Street Stocks, Revolution Reality USRA X-Mods, Casa Nissan Legends, and the Super Trucks! Mother Nature would cover the Southern New Mexico Speedway with dark gray clouds, but that didn't stop us from getting the show on the road.

Thirteen Super Trucks checked in for competition. Sherman Barnett and Walton Kyle Sr would battle for the lead early until Sherman Barnett spun. Later Walton Kyle Sr lead until he jumped turns three and four. His son Walton Kyle Jr would jump to the front and lead. Four cautions would fly after that, but Walton Kyle Jr stayed strong to win the Super Truck season opener!

Twenty two Sun Valley Hardware USRA Street Stocks checked it for a battle, and it was a battle! Lloyd Turner got offered an extra $200.00 to start in the back, and win! Well it sure was close, Lloyd Turner came to second and would battle Las Lunas, New Mexico racer Rick Boelter for the lead in the closing laps. Turner tried the bottom and the high but couldn't catch Rick Boelter, and Las Lunas, New Mexico racer Rick Boelter would win the 2015 Season Opener!

Jimmy Ray has been unstoppable in the Revolution Reality USRA X-Mod division until tonight. Jimmy lead the first five laps until Christy Georges-Barnett would pass him for thr lead. Christy caught lap traffic, but that didn't effect her at all. She lead the final twenty laps and would clean sweep the weekend and would win both Season Openers at each track for the 2015 season!

It took a while to get the Legends started as a lot of trouble happend, but when the green flag dropped it was a show for the lead! Mike Zuloaga, and Steven Arellano would be side by side for the lead with Robert Shepperd behind them trying to make it three wide. Zuloaga would lead one lap then Arellano would lead the other and it went on and on until at the end Steven Arellano had a good line to hold on to win a good battle with the "Nice Guy" Mike Zuloaga and the 2015 Season Opener at the Southern New Mexico Speedway.

Cesar Fuentes tried making it a perfect weekend with a win at the Southern New Mexico Speedway. Well Fuentes would start on the pole, BUT his motor was acting up. It wouldn't want to go. With seventeen laps to go he pulled in. Shawn Sander lead the way until Wes Wofford did what Fuentes did to him Friday night at the "Park" and passed Sander on the bottom with TWO LAPS TO GO! Fans went nuts and would hold on to win the 2015 Season Opener at the Southern New Mexico Speedway with the Border International Truck 305 Winged Sprint Cars!
